The Loft

When it comes to event spaces in Melbourne, it’s hard to beat The Loft. When you choose this space for your next event, you’ll have the entire venue reserved exclusively for you and up to 130 guests to enjoy!

This includes:

  • Booth seating
  • Access to the lounge
  • The option to open the bi-folding doors to The Alfresco Dancefloor
  • Optional DJ add on
  • TV Screens and projector
  • Access to the pool table for the entire event

With seating throughout the venue, including high and low bar stools, tables and chairs, a large communal table, and three cosy booths to choose from, The Loft is the ideal venue space for a big group!

The bar staff will serve drinks all night long while the music of your choice pumps throughout the space. Want to add a personal design touch to the space? We’re happy to oblige – or you can enjoy the space as is.

Minimum spend applies based on the date, time, and event details.

The Alfresco

If you need a venue hire in Melbourne suitable for up to 60 people, The Alfresco is the perfect choice! This is our semi-outdoor bespoke area reserved exclusively for you and your guests, while the rest of the venue is open to the public. 

The Alfresco’s spectacular design includes a projector, TV screen, multiple seating and table options, heating, fairy lights, music, and a PA if needed. 

Depending on how many guests are attending, you’ll have exclusive wait staff assigned to your group, and we’re happy to arrange different table options to suit the event. Guests will need to order drinks at the bar, but the waitstaff will serve food to you and your guests.  

When you choose The Alfresco, you get the perfect balance of a semi-private feel and access to the rest of Chip’s Loft at the same time.

The Lounge​

Looking for a small party venue hire in Melbourne? The Lounge at Chip’s Loft would love to host you and nine others in our private room meant for meetings, get-togethers, and other celebrations. The stylish and comfortable room is furnished with two cosy couches along with additional seating if needed, and a large flat screen is available for presentations, watching the game, or even karaoke! 

When you choose The Lounge, we can offer: 

  • Drinks on arrival
  • Personal wait staff to take orders and serve food and drinks
  • Platter or sit down menu options
  • Karaoke set up

A $250 minimum spend applied to Thursday-Sunday nights, but no minimum spend is required on Tuesday or Wednesday. Add ons will be calculated for your personalised package.

We are Licensed for to cater for 130 persons

We can cater to any size party – Exclusive (Full Venue 130 Person) Functions will require a minimum spend to be determined per enquiry.

We have a Platter Menu & a Sit Down Dinner Menu to cater for different occasions.

This needs to be discussed and confirmed at least 1 week prior to event.

For Exclusive Functions, you can arrange the tables, chairs and lounges how you would please.

For section bookings, we believe we have arranged our furniture to suit best the interaction of our guests & work flow for the staff.

Yes. We have a private Lounge room for a small karaoke set up.

Main room karaoke is only available for Exclusive Function Bookings.
